Taking care of a Leopard Gecko
Leopard geckos are good pets to have some good things about a Leopard Gecko is that they dont require a bunch of space, and that they can be left alone for up to a few days at a time.

Where they range from:
They usually range from middle east places such as pakistan, afganistan, India, and other middle eastern places.

The Breeding age / Reproduction of a Leopard Gecko:
Breeding a Leopard Gecko is usually a easy task. Its not uncommon for the breeder to have sucess on the first attempt. All you would need is a healthy female and a healthy male to get a fertile eggs. A male Leopard Gecko will be ready to breed much faster than a female Gecko. A female should be at least two years old to breed or else it can be very painful and diffucult. Breeding a female that is to young can affect its growth. The way Leopard Geckos mate is the dominant male will bit the female on the back of the neck and line up the vents and they begin the mating process. The Leopard Gecko will devel0p in pairs. As the eggs grows you will notice the female gain weight and you will be able to see the eggs through the belly skin. When the female is ready to grow her eggs she will dig a hole, lay her eggs, and then she'll burry them. Scattered substance is a good sign that the female has laid her eggs. Once the eggs have been hatched you should remove the the eggs that way they dont want dry out. You should try to keep the eggs in the same posistion. When the eggs are hatched you should put them in a container which they will grow, and burry them half way that way they can grow. You should fill the container with Vermiculite, sand, or pet moss. Vermiculite works best because it keeps the moisture inside. The medium should be moist not wet. Moisture is so important because while eggs are growing they tend to develop fungus. when they don't have enough moisture they tend to dry out. So you should probably pay close attetion to this situation. In some case the female Leopard Gecko can lay infetile eggs this is because the female gecko can lay eggs WITHOUT MATING. If the eggs are infertile they will begin to grow funus within the next few weeks

Sexing your Leopard Gecko:
The only way to tell male from a female is by looking at the vent of a sexually matured gecko. the vent is on the belly side at the tail base. above the vent, between the rear legs, is a series of pores and females have small pores in the shape of a "V". Males have large pores and females have small pores and females have small pores that are not easily visable. Handling leopard geckos to determaine sex isnt always easy. They do not like to be turned upside down. Its easier to place the gecko in a clear container and rise it up so u can see it's underside.
